the gran turismo world series gtws 2024 kicked off in montreal canada. the first race of the event was the manufacturers cup bringing together the top 12 ranked car companies including gtws official partners toyota genesis and mazda. each manufacturer fielded a team of three drivers representing each region from the online qualifiers. for montreal the teams were represented by one of the three drivers with a return to the previous endurance style three driver teams at the world finals later in the year.
