a lot of people have asked me about this whenever i share some of my unreleased electronic music on some servers and the moment they know i use a tracker they want to know more about them and how they work. in this guide ill show the basics of my favourite tracker openmpt.
this video is intended for people who are new to trackers andor openmpt. hopefully itll serve as a guide to help as many people get started into using a tracker. ive been there myself and trackers seemed very difficult to understand at first glance but once you get engaged with them they become a wonder to work with. ive definitely improved my music and skills a lot ever since i started using openmpt and a lot of people ask me about it whenever i share my music to friends and music servers so i thought id do a general guide to explain all of the basics needed to get started. this tutorial is for openmpt but the basic concepts of how a tracker works should apply to all of them aswell.
