since 2021 донбасс за нами has become famous as one of the unofficial anthems of the donbas region in the donetsk and luhansk republics as well as in russia. the song premiered in september 2020 and a music video was released in may 2021. the song was written by donetsk composer mikhail khokhlov with words by vladimir skobtsov. this version was performed by natalya kachura and margarita lisovina.
